He has experience in advising real estate funds, multinational companies, lenders, borrowers, retailers, institutional and non-institutional real estate investors, developers, and operators in a broad range of business arenas.
Rahul got his law degree from Jamia University in the year 2009 since then he is into hardcore commercial litigation for many companies. Before joining TYJ, he worked with various law firms for a few years. He has a great presence before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, NCLT, NCLAT, and various High Courts in India. Rahul has created a record for taking insolvency orders against the 6 Corporate Debtors in a single day and since then he is unstoppable before NCLT and NCLAT. Rahul brings a wealth of accumulated experience and knowledge to resolving complex, contentious commercial matters, often of a cross-border nature, including those involving an element of fraud. His clients appreciate his attention to detail in the analysis of their cases and his ability to form effective strategies that are legally, commercially, and factually sound.
His practice areas include advising on all aspects of investments into real estate projects, creation of security, sale, and purchase of real estate properties, including commercial leasing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and documentation of the transaction, drafting and negotiating agreements relating to the sale, mortgage, loans, license, construction, services, agency & franchise, litigation and arbitration related to real properties, among many others and advising domestic and international corporate clients on their general legal requirements.
He also advises clients in commercial and regulatory matters, including business insolvency and asset recovery. He has dealt with many matters before Consumer, NGT, SEBI, NCLT, Etc.
